The Mission: to provide personal support services to consumers in an Independent Living Situation

The Independent Living Program assists those looking to live in a community of disabled adults and gain the personal skills needed to be self-sufficient. We provide an individualized plan based on each member's needs.

Our ILP clients live at one of "Just" People’s two apartment communities. These villages are inhabited solely by "Just" People and are built specifically to promote the success of our members.

Services Included

Transportation to work, personal appointments and social activities

Medication monitoring when necessary

Roommate and Relationship Skills

Job Development, Training and Support

On property staffing and a 24-hour call service

ILP Skills

Our Independent Living Program focuses on improving each member's skills to maximize their self-sufficiency. These skills include but are not limited to:

Time Management
Budgeting
Health and Wellness
Cleanliness
Communication

Our son joined "Just" People and moved into the JP Village at Roswell almost 16 years ago. He really wanted to join the JP group and live independently. I wasn’t sure how it would work and had plenty of doubts. With the help of Becky, Kelli and the JP team, not only has he lived and thrived at JP for all the past years but the self-esteem and confidence lift that he has gained has been so great to watch. Worrying about your child is normal, watching them grow into an adult and thrive is truly a blessing. Thank you to the entire JP team!
